Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Date 1.4.25
Pinnacle Care Professionals Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to operate ethically, uphold human rights, and ensure that all individuals connected to our services are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
As a provider of domiciliary care services within the United Kingdom, we support individuals in their own homes with a range of care needs, including personal care, assistance with daily living, and companionship. Our approach is centred on safeguarding, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting with integrity in our recruitment practices and to ensuring transparency across our operations.
Our recruitment processes are designed to ensure that all staff are recruited safely, fairly, and in line with legal requirements. We carry out robust pre-employment checks, including identity verification, right to work checks, and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks where appropriate. All employees are provided with clear terms and conditions of employment, and we do not tolerate any form of coercion, exploitation, or unlawful treatment.
Pinnacle Care Professionals Ltd does not currently hold a Home Office sponsorship licence and therefore does not recruit workers requiring visa sponsorship. Where individuals from overseas are employed, their right to work in the UK is thoroughly verified as part of our safer recruitment processes. This ensures that all staff are legally entitled to work and are employed freely, without restriction or exploitation.
We recognise that risks of modern slavery can arise within the wider care sector, particularly in relation to recruitment practices and the use of third-party agencies.
Our supply chains are limited and primarily consist of the procurement of goods such as personal protective equipment (PPE), uniforms, and care-related supplies. We aim to source these from established UK-based suppliers and remain mindful of ethical sourcing considerations.
We maintain internal policies that support our commitment to safeguarding and ethical working practices, including safeguarding procedures, a whistleblowing policy, and clear standards of conduct for all staff. Employees are encouraged to raise any concerns, and we are committed to ensuring that all reports are taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Training and awareness are integral to our approach. Staff receive safeguarding training which includes recognising signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, including indicators of modern slavery and human trafficking. This supports a culture of vigilance and accountability across the organisation.
We understand that protecting vulnerable individuals is central to our role as a care provider. This includes ensuring that our workforce is protected from exploitation and that our services are delivered in a safe and ethical manner at all times. We remain committed to continually reviewing and strengthening our practices to mitigate any risks associated with modern slavery.
